Scarecrow Decorating Contest
Calling all young artists!
Grade school children are invited to show off their creativity by decorating their very own scarecrow. Whether your scarecrow is silly, spooky, or full of fall flair, we can't wait to see your imaginative designs. Gather your favorite decorations, get creative, and join the fun for a chance to win prizes and celebrate the season!
When: Friday, October 9, 2026
Where: Around town - South Railroad Avenue
Note: Tape/write name/address/phone # on back of entry
Judging: Friday, October 9, at 5p.m. on location
Prizes: Winners will be posted on Pedricktown and Oldmans social media pages and this website. Prizes may be collected at the township building.
Open to Oldmans Township residents only.
After submitting this form, call Victoria Medford at 302-563-6003 to get a pole for your scarecrow. You can enter as a group or family.
The Pedricktown Day Committee will attempt to keep your display safe, but please consider the value and durability of the props you use.
1st Place: $100 donated by the ETC Store
2nd Place: $75 donated by Heartfelt Designs
3rd Place: $50 donated by Pedricktown Day Committee
